Privacy Policy
How Asian Plus Medical Center collects, uses and protects your personal and health information, and the rights you have over it under the laws of Nepal.
The short version
1. Who we are
Asian Plus Medical Center Pvt. Ltd. ("Asian Plus", "we", "us") is a health institution in Samakhusi-10, Tokha, Kathmandu, providing medical examinations for foreign employment, visas, study and travel since 2013. This policy covers our medical center and our website, asianplus.com.np.
We handle your information in line with the Constitution of Nepal (Article 28, right to privacy), the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) and its Regulations, the Public Health Service Act, 2075, the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 and its Regulations, the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063, and the professional confidentiality rules that apply to our doctors and health workers.
2. Information we collect
When you visit our medical center
- Identity details: full name, date of birth, sex, photograph, and citizenship or passport number.
- Contact details: phone number, address and email.
- Travel or job details: destination country, visa or job category, employer or agency name, and the medical form they require.
- Health information: medical history, examination findings, laboratory results, chest X-ray, ECG, ultrasound and other test results, and the doctor's fitness decision.
- Biometric details: fingerprints or photographs, where a government or destination-country system requires them.
- Payment records: bills and receipts. We do not store card numbers.
When you use our website or contact us
- Report verification: the passport or report number you enter to check a report.
- Enquiries: the name, phone number, email and message you send through our forms, phone or WhatsApp.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics (see section 7).
3. How we use your information
- To carry out the examination and tests you asked for, and to issue your medical report.
- To send your result to the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) online system, where the law requires this for a labour permit.
- To let employers, agencies, embassies or consulates confirm your report is genuine.
- To contact you about results, follow-up tests or report collection.
- To handle compensation claims and complaints, and to meet our legal duties.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
4. Consent
We ask for your consent before your examination and before sharing your report with anyone outside section 5. For anyone under 18, or anyone unable to give consent, we ask a parent or legal guardian.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. This does not affect information already shared lawfully, or records the law requires us to keep.
5. Who we share your information with
- Government bodies: the Department of Foreign Employment, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, the Ministry of Health and Population and other authorities, where the law requires it.
- Parties you authorise: your employer, recruiting agency, embassy or consulate, for the purpose of your visa or job.
- Partner laboratories: any laboratory that runs a test on our behalf, only as much as the test needs.
- Service providers: website hosting, security, IT support and Google Analytics, who may use data only to provide their service to us.
- Courts and law enforcement: when a court order or law requires it.
Some of these parties, such as a foreign embassy, employer or Google, are outside Nepal. We share with them only what is needed for the purpose you came to us for.
6. Report verification
Our online verification tool confirms whether a report was issued by Asian Plus and shows its fitness status. It does not show your full test results. Anyone with your passport or report number can use it, so share those numbers only with people who need to verify your report.
7. Website analytics and cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies of our own. Our website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics uses small cookies to tell new and returning visitors apart. It does not receive your name, passport number or medical information from us.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Our website works normally either way.
8. How long we keep your information

We keep records longer only if a law, government authority, court or open claim requires it. After that, paper records are shredded and electronic records are deleted or anonymised.
9. How we protect your information
Paper records are kept in locked storage, and electronic records are protected by passwords and access controls. Only staff who need your information for their work can see it, and all staff are bound by confidentiality. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects you, we will tell you and act to limit the harm.
10. Your rights
Under the Individual Privacy Act, 2075, you can:
- see the personal and health information we hold about you, and get a copy of your report;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- withdraw consent to sharing, as described in section 4;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need, subject to section 8;
- complain to us, and take the matter to the competent authority or court if you are not satisfied.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the law or our services change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Please also read our Terms and Conditions.
